Wool Painting, Southwest Sunrise skein of thrones These would make a wonderfulDalis uses her hand dyed wool roving, silk sari, silk ribbon, silk chiffon, lace and various yarns as she 'paints' her landscapes, which she calls Lambscapes. She starts with a wool felt base then layers on wool roving. Then the yarn, ribbons, silk and other embellishments start to take shape as they are placed on top of the roving.
